Bella Brides is looking for a Part-Time Bridal Stylist + Flow Pro to join our small but mighty team in Downtown Bend!

If you love people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a great eye for style, and think spending your weekend helping brides find their wedding dress sounds like a pretty great way to spend a workday, you might be exactly who we're looking for.

We're a close-knit team that works hard, laughs a lot, celebrates each other's wins, and genuinely cares about giving every bride who walks through our doors an incredible experience. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we take what we do for our brides very seriously.

This is a sales position, but at Bella Brides, great sales start with great relationships. Our stylists listen, educate, build trust, make thoughtful recommendations, and help brides feel confident making a big decision. You'll have individual and team goals, but the experience we give our brides always comes first.

This role is also part Flow Pro, which is our name for the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps Bella running smoothly. One minute you may be helping a bride find the dress, and the next you might be resetting an appointment room, putting gowns away, steaming a dress, processing new arrivals, serving champagne, mending a dress, or jumping into a gown for an Instagram Reel. We're a small team, and we all pitch in!

Who We're Looking For

The right person for Bella Brides is someone who is:

• Warm + genuinely loves people. You can make someone feel comfortable within minutes of meeting them.

• A natural relationship builder. You enjoy connecting with people, understanding what they need, and helping them make decisions they feel great about.

• A team player. We're very much a "we over me" kind of place. When one person wins, we all win.

• Detail-oriented. Bridal has approximately one million tiny details, and they all matter.

• Someone who notices what needs to be done. You don't wait to be told that a room needs resetting, dresses need to go back, glasses need refilling, or a gown needs steaming. You notice it and jump in.

• Good with your hands. You don't need to be a seamstress, but being comfortable with basic hand sewing, steaming, garment care, and learning how to make small repairs is a big plus.

• Reliable. Your teammates and your brides need to know they can count on you.

• Emotionally intelligent. Wedding dress shopping can come with big personalities, family dynamics, nerves, tears, and lots of feelings. You can read a room and handle those moments with confidence and kindness.

• Positive + solution-oriented. Things don't always go according to plan. You're someone who looks for the solution rather than getting stuck on the problem.

• Confident. You can take the lead in an appointment, make recommendations, and help a bride navigate a big decision without making her feel pressured.

• Coachable + eager to learn. There is a LOT to learn about bridal, and we'll teach you. We just need you to want to learn it.

• Comfortable on social media. You don't need to be an influencer, but you do need to be willing and comfortable modeling gowns and appearing in Bella Brides' social media content from time to time.

Above all, we're looking for someone who cares deeply about doing a great job, being a great teammate, and taking really good care of people.

What You'll Be Doing

Bridal Styling

• Create an exceptional, personalized experience for every bride.

• Lead bridal appointments from beginning to end.

• Listen to each bride's vision and help her discover what makes her feel the most like herself.

• Style complete bridal looks with veils and accessories.

• Build genuine relationships and help brides feel confident navigating a big purchase.

• Work toward individual and team goals while keeping the bride's experience at the center of the appointment.

• Learn our designers, gowns, fabrics, construction, sizing, fit, timelines, and alterations basics.

• Manage appointment timing while still making each bride feel completely cared for.

• Communicate with brides through phone calls, texts, emails, and in-person conversations.

• Process transactions, orders, payments, and client information accurately.

Flow Pro + Behind-the-Scenes

Our Flow Pros are a huge part of what keeps Bella Brides running smoothly. They handle the behind-the-scenes details that make our brides' experience feel effortless.

That may include:

• Setting up, taking down, and resetting appointment spaces.

• Welcoming brides and guests and serving beverages.

• Dress go-backs and keeping gowns organized and appointment-ready.

• Steaming dresses, veils, and accessories.

• Receiving, processing, and inspecting new gowns and bride orders.

• Basic mending and small repairs.

• Keeping the shop, fitting rooms, racks, and back-of-house spaces clean and organized.

• Occasionally modeling gowns and accessories for social media.

• Jumping in wherever needed to keep the day moving smoothly.

Some days you're helping a bride say yes to her dress. Other days you're steaming gowns, pouring champagne, sewing on a button, and resetting a room before the next bride walks in. It all matters.

About the Schedule

Here's the big one: Sundays are required.

Weekends are the busiest (and most fun!) time in bridal. That's when the shop is buzzing, appointments are full, and most of our brides are saying yes to their dresses, so we need someone who genuinely enjoys being part of that weekend energy.

At a minimum, this position requires consistent Sunday availability + one consistent weekday each week. Some Saturday coverage may also be requested from time to time to help cover other team members' time off.

Our dream would be to find someone who is consistently available Saturdays, Sundays, + one weekday. If that's you, please shout it from the rooftops on your application!

One of the perks of bridal retail is that our hours aren't quite like traditional retail. We're not here until 10 p.m., and we're not opening the doors at 6 a.m. But weekends are our bread and butter, so if you love a busy shop, lots of people, and days that fly by, you'll fit right in.

The Nitty Gritty

We're looking for someone who:

• Is at least 18 years old.

• Has previous customer service experience, preferably in retail, hospitality, restaurant, bridal, or another people-focused environment.

• Is comfortable working toward goals.

• Has strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Is comfortable learning POS, CRM, scheduling, and other software systems.

• Is comfortable using a garment steamer and learning proper wedding dress care.

• Is willing to learn basic hand sewing and gown mending.

• Is willing and comfortable modeling gowns and appearing on Bella Brides' social media.

• Doesn't mind the less-glamorous parts of bridal, whether that's putting away dresses, cleaning up after an appointment, or washing a few champagne glasses.

• Can stand and move for long periods of time.

• Can lift up to 35 pounds. Wedding dresses are heavier than they look!

• Has reliable transportation.

• Is punctual, dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple things at once.

• Is comfortable working independently when needed.

• Is flexible and willing to shift priorities when the day doesn't go according to plan.

Bridal experience is wonderful, but it's definitely not required. If you're an incredible server, bartender, retail associate, hospitality professional, salesperson, or customer-service superstar who knows how to connect with people and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done behind the scenes, please apply!

Compensation

$16/hour plus commission, bonuses, and tips. Total earning potential can reach approximately $25–$45+ per hour, depending on commissions, bonuses, and tips.

Additional compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
